About the artist
Maarten Overdijk (born 1977 in Leiden) lives and works in Leiden. Overdijk earned his Ph.D. in Psychology in 2009. While still working toward his degree, Overdijk participated in visual arts residencies in Paris and Amsterdam. He has also received several grants and won numerous awards.
